A Scare, A Laugh, A Dare
By Elise
"Dude, just do it."
"Dude, I'm not joking. You can't make me do it. Someone will notice!"
"Just do it real fast. I promise. No one will see you."
"Fine, but I want the money. And I want it now," I whispered back to him. I sware, the only reason he told me to do it is because the teachers told us
not to. But it was too late now, I couldn't back out, I just couldn't. I'd just do what he said- he said to do it quick. Now in this abandoned little playground he brought me to, my greatest fears would be unleashed. Trepidation almost made me turn back, but a shiver ran up my spine, letting me know that that was not an option. I shivered again, and my teeth chattered, but this time it was only from the cold. Blankets of snow were left, scattered across the earth. Things were frozen, and ice had formed on particularly flat, already wet parts of the ground. Well here I was, the moment of truth. I stuck out my tongue, the cold already biting back. I was positive my saliva was making little icicles. But I kept it out. And I stuck it to the icy, frozen pole. Then i pulled it straight back off.
"Outh...ith my tongue bweeding?"
"Yeah, man, a little."
"Gith me the money."
"Nice try, dude! I already gave you the dollar!" We laughed.

I think this story is awesome. You should think about writing it into a screenplay.
